Dance Movement is dance project that is administered by the Wentworth Arts and Culture organisation, based in the Wentworth community. Dance Movement is a project that is aimed at youth development through dance and gives an opportunity to the youth in the community to train and develop their dance skill and create a platform to expose their talent. Dance Movement specialises in Hip hop and break dancing but also trains in modern, contemporary and local street dances amongst others. Over the past four years dance movement is seen in and around Durban, performing in festivals, shows, competitions and productions, but recently reached a milestone in 2010, as they represented South Africa at one of the biggest youth festivals in the world:The 38th Aberdeen International Youth Festival in Scotland. The group was received well at the festival showcasing a dance production of hip hop, African Contemporary and Bollywood.
