Linda Vargas has a BA Hons (Drama) degree and has recently completed a Masters Degree in Education.
She holds the Enrico Cecchetti Final Diploma as a dancer and the LISTD teachers’ qualification for the ISTD (London).
She is a founder member of the Alianza Flamenca Society and is currently serving as a member of its Board of Directors
and as an international Examiner. She is the director of the Linda Vargas Flamenco Dance Company and currently offers
classes of flamenco in the Durban area. These classes include the following:

Adult and children introductory classes to Flamenco; no dance experience or partner necessary.
- Training in the Alianza Flamenco syllabus for examinations. These include international teacher’s qualifications.
- Professional flamenco classes which form the foundation for Company performances
- Classes for old age citizens which include breathing and spinal alignment
- Corporate Workshops which are designed for team building in business.
- Holistic dance classes which are designed for healing and well being.
- Educational dance courses for teachers in schools
- Educational dance courses for mainstream education in Arts and Culture
